This presentation unpacks some of the most common myths about university admissions and offers practical guidance.

Teo offers insight gained through more than 20 years of experience in admissions, academic counseling, and alumni relations at the University of Toronto and Western University. In 2015, Teo founded VerveSmith, a multi-consultant practice in Toronto serving students crossing borders. A graduate of the University of Toronto and McGill University, he also completed a Graduate Certificate in College Counseling at the University of California, Los Angeles. Teo is committed to professional development and community service. He is Co-chair of the National Association for College Admission Counseling IEC Special Interest Group, member of the professional development committee of the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), and Past Chair of the Global Committee of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA).
